Winx Club: Mystery of the Abyss Official English Cast List

Hey guys! I recently contacted Dubbing Brothers USA (which is the company that has dubbed the three Winx Club movies in English.)

 I asked them for the English cast list, and I wanted to share it for those who are interested. So here it is, enjoy!

Jakks Pacific Bloomix Dolls Appear on Tumblr!

(This news has been posted already on various sites and Michael's Winx Club and Una Di Noi Winx, but I first found out about it from one of my friends on Flickr.)

So last night Tumblr user, Duchess Swan, posted a picture of his Toys R Us Doll Haul, which included the entire Winx Club Bloomix Power Collection!

And now what everyone has been waiting for--- The Bloomix Doll Images! I do not own these pictures and will take them down if requested by the owner. The purpose of this post is solely to spread Winx Club news and to reach as many fans as possible! 

I like these dolls, but I don't love them, That may change when I see more pictures of them but honestly I was hoping for something a bit better. Sadly, it looks like they had to go through a lot of cost reduction from the leaked prototypes we saw here. 

• They all have the same yellow crown mold which appears to be from the Bloom Harmonix doll, but I don't think works here. If they were going to reuse an accessory I believe the Aisha Harmonix tiara mold would have worked better as it hangs over the forehead more like the tiara in the Bloomix designs.  

• The transition from leggings to shoe is really awkward in my opinion. The skin really shouldn't be showing. I wish Jakks would have invested in using a longer shoe mold to cover up the skin (they used the Bloom and Flora Charmix mold for people wondering) OR made the leggings go all the way down and cover the feet (like footie pajamas) and then put the shoe on top. I think those would have been better solutions. (The prototype image from above had a different shoe mold and leggings that didn't reveal skin.) 

• It looks like the Mythix wands and Capes that the girls had in the prototype images were also cost reduced, unless the Mythix wands are coming with the Mythix dolls. We will have to see.

But of course their are awesome things about these dolls too! 

• The leggings are all very nicely detailed!
• The wings are gorgeous as always.
• The tops are nicely detailed.

IN CONCLUSION:

Maybe I am being a bit too critical. The Bloomix show designs were very complex and are probably the most complex of all Winx transformation designs. I am still SUPER excited Jakks released these and I will be buying every single one. My favorites are Flora, Musa, and Tecna! How about you? Please tell me what you think in the comments!

Happy 10th Anniversary Winx Club!

Can you guys believe it? Winx Club has been around for 10 years now! January 28, 2004 was the first time that Winx Club aired on TV in Italy on the channel Rai 2. Ten years later, Winx Club is still an amazingly popular cartoon series with six seasons and counting, theatrical films, TV movies, and tons of merchandise! I'd like to say congratulations to Iginio Straffi and Rainbow SRL! Thanks for giving us Winx fans such a special series :)

Winx Club Season 7 CONFIRMED!

Special thanks to Una Di Noi Winx for posting the news first! Amazing news Winxers! There is a seventh season of Winx Club in our future! The article here on an Italian news website, Corriere Adriatico contains an interview with Iginio Straffi, the CEO of Rainbow and creator of Winx Club in which Straffi confirms a seventh season of Winx. Here is a snippet from the interview (translated from google translate, so it's not the best translation). 

" So many initiatives underway at the Rainbow ... "We are in full swing: it is in preparation for the seventh series of the Winx, the II series Prezzy, a third film about witches, the studio also new characters.'s going well the Rainbow Magic Land, the amusement park near Rome. During these first few days of the year we are strengthening Our offices in Asia in the near future where we will focus our efforts. "

The article also mentions that the 3rd Winx Movie is scheduled to come out some time after this upcoming summer and that Rainbow is focusing on strengthening their offices in Asia. Maybe they will be expanding the magic of Winx to other countries? Nothing is confirmed about that as of now though.

So what do you guys think? Are you happy Rainbow is adding another season of Winx or do you feel as if the series is being stretched out too long? I am very happy there is going to be a seventh season as seeing Winx Club end would be really painful for me, so I'll take any Winx we can get!

The official Italian Winx Club website now has a Winx Club online shopping store! The website launched today December 6th and there is a video on the front page featuring the Winx Club shopping site.

The video features a Limited Edition Bloom Urban Fairy doll for purchase for about 30 Euros, and other Winx merchandise like magazines!

If you live in Italy, then you are in luck for buying, but other countries don't have access to the Winx store! Most likely, because the website doesn't offer shipping out of Europe or Italy (I'm not 100% sure but this is a good guess).

Winx Club Season 6 TRAILER Debuts on Rainbow's Winx Club YouTube Channels!

Okay guys, I'm so late with this post! But anyways, here are my thoughts on the Season 6 Trailer! 
As most Winx Club fans already know, on Thursday August 29th, the trailer for the BRAND NEW 6th season of Winx Club was uploaded to many of Rainbow's Winx Club YouTube Channels (Rainbow has multiple Winx Club channels for different languages.)

I'm not going to comment on the trailer too much but here's a bullet list of things that I noticed/liked/didn't like about the trailer. (I ended up commenting on a lot.) 

• LOOKS MUCH BETTER THAN SEASON 5! I think the plot of this season will be much more interesting than Season 5! Read the exclusive plot summary on Michael's Winx Club! *****SPOILER ALERT. Don't read it you don't know what happens in the last few episodes of Season 5.*****

• The Trix get new outfits once again! I'm happy about that but I'm not sure if I like the new hair styles and clothes yet. I'll need to get a better view of them.

• The Winx are wearing pink and grey plaid school uniform style outfits throughout the trailer. It's unconfirmed if these will be the official everyday outfits for this season or not at this time. The outfits are really cute and pretty but I'm not sure how I feel about them being so similar. It kind of takes their individuality away as a group of fairies with totally different powers. 

• Daphne is shown getting into the transformation poses with the Winx girls. It will be cool to see her fighting with the Winx in a few episodes, but please Daphne... don't join the Club. How lame would it be to be in a club with your younger sibling? I would hate that. A lot of people are saying that Daphne deserves to in the Winx Club because she helped out the Winx so much but is it really necessary? Daphne is already Bloom's sister so they can hang out when ever they want. I'd much rather see Roxy join. I want to see her progression as a fairy. How cool would it be to see her get her Enchantix powers or something? Although I feel like this will never  happen because Rainbow and Nick  seem to like to not like to talk about old transformations once a new one comes along, which is really unsettling for me. I always miss the old ones! 

• There's a very anime-ish vibe and style throughout the whole trailer. I think I like it! I'm not sure if it's exactly "Winx" but I guess we'll see when the new season 6 episodes debut!
  

• We see the Specialists with new outfits. 

• Of course we get a sneak peak of the new transformations! It looks like there will be two in this season.

As you guys can see there will be CGI animation in the 6th season, but I'm pretty sure most of us saw that coming. 

What did you guys think about the trailer? I'm SO excited for season 6! And if fashion dolls come out I'm sure they'd be gorgeous!

Fly High All Around Part 3: Winx Club Toys Consumer Research Survey!

 BubbleGumMagic97 and I have come out with our next part of the Fly High All Around Winx Club Doll Campaign! If you are unsure what this campaign is all about: Click here for a previous blog post explaining #FlyHighAllAround. 

Now we have developed a survey that we will be sending to a team at Jakks Pacific in order to help them out with marketing strategies and product development. It is NOT definite that this survey will have a significant impact on the Winx Club doll line, but our hopes are that it is read and helps out the Winx Club team at Jakks Pacific in some way. 

The questions in the survey are mostly aimed at marketing and advertising, which we believe are among the major things that needs improvement in the Winx Club Doll line by Jakks Pacific.

Fly High All Around: Let's Contact Jakks: My reply from Jakks Pacific!

Please click here to read my previous article about the email campaign to Jakks Pacific I have started. We need you to help out so PLEASE check it out. It could be helpful with convincing Jakks what could  be done with the doll line to help improve sales.

After sending my letter about my marketing concerns and other concerns for the Winx Club doll line I received a very nice email from Jakks. Also, it wasn't just an automated reply they directly answered part of my question---so you know the letter will be acknowledged and read if sent to consumers@jakks.com 

Here is the reply I received in text format and screenshot:

"Thank you for contacting Consumer Relations,

I would be more than happy to forward your email to the appropriate department.  We are always striving to improve our products an appreciate any type of feedback.  We appreciate that you have taken the time out to write us.  If you have any further concerns feel free to contact me."

Fly High All Around Part 2: Contact Jakks Pacific!

If you haven't already heard I have started the "Fly High All Around" Winx Club Doll Campaign on my YouTube Channel Sailoreric97 with BubbleGumMagic97 on YouTube. The Winx Club dolls by Jakks Pacific have been selling poorly lately and we want to change this! Please read about my previous post about #FlyHighAllAround here for more details if you haven't heard about it yet. 

So we know doll sales are low and as fans we pretty much can see the obvious problems with the Winx Club Doll line. Most fans have come to the conclusion that poor doll sales are a result of:

• Poor Marketing by Jakks and Nickelodeon: It seems that Jakks Pacific and Nickelodeon really haven't been advertising Winx. Winx Club just randomly stopped airing on Nickelodeon and when the show was airing we weren't seeing very many, if any, commercials to advertise the show and let fans know when it was airing. Nickelodeon doesn't seem to advertise Nick much on their social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter. Without the frequent advertising  how can they expect people who aren't huge fans like us to stay updated? 

• Too Many Blooms left on shelves: This is one major problem that no doubt hurt the line. Consumers were mostly finding Bloom dolls and when they wanted other characters, they simply had trouble finding them due to the rarer characters selling out fast. UPDATE: It seems that this problem may be being fixed. I was watching a Tecna Sirenix Doll review on YouTube and in the comments I asked the girl how many of each character she saw at the store. She replied to me saying she saw one of each girl! So hopefully this will be the new case ratio. 

• Bad Distribution:  From what I've heard people were for the most part able to easily find the first releases---Believix, Concert, and Everyday Collections. But when it came to the second wave of dolls---Harmonix and City Style- some people still have not been able to find these dolls in stores. 

Fly High All Around Winx Club Doll Campaign!

According to many recent articles (some more recent than others) the Winx Club Doll line has been selling poorly. Here are just two articles you can read about toy sales at Jakks Pacific. Both directly mention the Winx Club Doll Line.

There are many factors that have probably contributed to the poor sales. Here are a few:

• Infrequent/Inadequate advertising of the show/dolls
• Shelves overloaded with Bloom dolls
• Poor distribution/difficulty in finding the specific doll/s a person wants

Because of these poor doll sales I have teamed up with BubbleGumMagic97 on my YouTube channel Sailoreric97 to start a campaign to promote doll sales! 

The campaign is called "Fly High All Around!" Through the campaign we will be promoting the Winx Club Doll Line and hope to raise awareness of the line in hopes that doll sales improve!

The doll sales for this Fall will no doubt have a MAJOR impact on the fate of the Winx Club doll line.

Winx Sirenix Dolls Hit UK!

While browsing YouTube tonight I have discovered a  doll review of the Tecna Sirenix doll by Jakks Pacific.

According to the review the doll was purchased at a UK shop called Smyths and all 6 of the Sirenix dolls were there!

Winx Club San Deigo Comic Con 2013 Limited Edition Dolls

This year at Comic Con 2013 there will be some amazing new Limited Edition Winx Club Dolls to purchase! 

The first one that we all know about is Daphne. She will be available for around $30 at the Entertainment Earth Booth at SDCC and on the Toys R Us website starting on July 18th 2013.

Good news! There is also another Limited Edition doll that will be at Comic Con this year! It is a Blue  Harmonix Bloom Doll!

She is simply gorgeous! The designer did an excellent job on both of these dolls and I can not wait to buy them! Hopefully I won't have to fork to much over for this one but she will be worth it anyways!

So guys, what San Deigo Comic Con doll for this year is your favorite is your favorite? I can't decide! I LOVE both! 

Jakks Pacific Harmonix Dolls in Italy?

Would anyone be able to confirm if Jakks Pacific Winx Harmonix dolls are being sold in Italy? 

The Italian toy website http://www.toysmania.it/ has many Jakks Pacific dolls for sale but they also have many Witty Toys Dolls, which is the company that makes the dolls that most of Europe gets.

I was very curious about this since I thought that Italy only sold the Witty Toys dolls.

I checked eBay  because that's a good way to get an idea of what is actually being sold in a certain country. Believe it or not, if you search "Winx Harmonix" on the official Italian eBay website http://www.ebay.it/ , you will see many Harmonix dolls by Jakks Pacific! I think this is very interesting! It looks like many of the sellers have them at their houses in Italy! 

So Italian Winx fans, have you seen any Jakks Pacific dolls in stores, or are these sellers getting them from somewhere else?

Back to School with the Winx!

Giochi Preziosi will be releasing some very cool back to school Winx Club merchandise Fall 2013 in Italy! The line includes book bags, pencil pouches, journals/diaries, and even ear buds! Here are some images of the products to be released!

Daphne Limited Edition eBay Update!

The Daphne Comic Con Doll that had been listed on eBay yesterday has been removed. Those who ordered her sadly received emails saying that their order has been canceled and refunded! Bummer!

I guess we will all have to wait until the 18th like we originally intended.

Earlier today I was on eBay and spotted the Daphne Limited Edition doll that will be available at the San Diego Comic Con this year!

She was only $29.99 and I was surprised someone was selling her for retail price. When I clicked on the listing I noticed that it was on sale for the retail price because it was on sale at the Official Toys R Us eBay store. 

This was very shocking to see as the Daphne Doll on the Toys R Us Website is not available to order until July 18th. Click here to view Daphne on the Toy R Us website. 

The estimated Delivery Date is by Wednesday July 10th - Friday July 12th. I won't be surprised if this changes and I will update this post if it does.

Below is the Summer Style Collection! It is just a very plain and simple basic doll collection! I think it is very pretty and nicely done for a budget collection. It includes, Stella, Layla/Aisha, Bloom, and Flora. 

Here is the Fashion Fairy Collection. It is another basic doll collection. It features beautiful dresses with a flowing trim and bonus wings for your doll! There are six dolls to collect-Musa, Flora, Bloom, Layla/Aisha, Stella, and Tecna! 

Finally here is the Shopping Fairy Collection! It is a really pretty collection based on the Cafe outfits from season 5. There are four dolls to collect- Flora, Stella, Bloom, and Layla/Aisha! The collection features shiny scarves, beautiful fashions, and extra wings! 

The only other collection added to the Italian site as of now is the Summer Style Collection. On the Italian Website the collection is called "Mare e Magia" which translates to "Sea and Magic". 

With all of these new Witty Dolls coming out you can tell that Summer-Fall 2013 will be an important time for Rainbow with fashion doll sales. If you live where any of these dolls will be sold I highly encourage you to buy them if you like them because fashion doll sales are a huge part of Winx and you will help to promote Winx with every doll you buy!
