Happy 10th Anniversary Winx Club!

Can you guys believe it? Winx Club has been around for 10 years now! January 28, 2004 was the first time that Winx Club aired on TV in Italy on the channel Rai 2. Ten years later, Winx Club is still an amazingly popular cartoon series with six seasons and counting, theatrical films, TV movies, and tons of merchandise! I'd like to say congratulations to Iginio Straffi and Rainbow SRL! Thanks for giving us Winx fans such a special series :)

Winx Club Season 7 CONFIRMED!

Special thanks to Una Di Noi Winx for posting the news first! Amazing news Winxers! There is a seventh season of Winx Club in our future! The article here on an Italian news website, Corriere Adriatico contains an interview with Iginio Straffi, the CEO of Rainbow and creator of Winx Club in which Straffi confirms a seventh season of Winx. Here is a snippet from the interview (translated from google translate, so it's not the best translation). 

" So many initiatives underway at the Rainbow ... "We are in full swing: it is in preparation for the seventh series of the Winx, the II series Prezzy, a third film about witches, the studio also new characters.'s going well the Rainbow Magic Land, the amusement park near Rome. During these first few days of the year we are strengthening Our offices in Asia in the near future where we will focus our efforts. "

The article also mentions that the 3rd Winx Movie is scheduled to come out some time after this upcoming summer and that Rainbow is focusing on strengthening their offices in Asia. Maybe they will be expanding the magic of Winx to other countries? Nothing is confirmed about that as of now though.

So what do you guys think? Are you happy Rainbow is adding another season of Winx or do you feel as if the series is being stretched out too long? I am very happy there is going to be a seventh season as seeing Winx Club end would be really painful for me, so I'll take any Winx we can get! 

Winx Fairy School by Tsumanga Studios App Review!

Hey everyone! Today I finally have a new post for you guys on the awesome new #WinxFairySchool app by Tsumanga Studios, the makers of Winx Club Sirenix Power! Also, sorry for the long hiatus on my blog! I've been so busy this year with school and homework it's unbelievable! Thanks so much for the patient wait! You guys are the best! 

As of now Tsumanga Studios is in the process of having a select few beta test the Winx Club app for iOS devices and I had the opportunity  to test this app like I did for Winx Club Sirenix Power! You can read my review of that awesome app here. The beta testers are responsible for seeing how the app performs on their devices, giving suggestions, recommendations, and reporting any problems to Tsumanga based on their experiences so that when the app is  released it is the best that it can be!

When you first open the app you are welcomed into the world of the Winx and get a look at Alfea college! You are greeted by Griselda and asked to choose your fairy name and choose which fairy house you would like to belong to! My name is Ericixx and I choose the house of Morphix!

 Registering for Alfea! A dream come true!

After selecting your name and house you are then greeted by Headmistress Faragonda and you are introduced to the game. The game interface is very clean and simple, it is very easy to learn where everything is and navigate throughout the game! 

The goal of the game is to complete different tasks and level up until you reach level 10 and become a Believix fairy! 

Winx Club Season 6 TRAILER Debuts on Rainbow's Winx Club YouTube Channels!

Okay guys, I'm so late with this post! But anyways, here are my thoughts on the Season 6 Trailer! 
As most Winx Club fans already know, on Thursday August 29th, the trailer for the BRAND NEW 6th season of Winx Club was uploaded to many of Rainbow's Winx Club YouTube Channels (Rainbow has multiple Winx Club channels for different languages.)

I'm not going to comment on the trailer too much but here's a bullet list of things that I noticed/liked/didn't like about the trailer. (I ended up commenting on a lot.) 

• LOOKS MUCH BETTER THAN SEASON 5! I think the plot of this season will be much more interesting than Season 5! Read the exclusive plot summary on Michael's Winx Club! *****SPOILER ALERT. Don't read it you don't know what happens in the last few episodes of Season 5.*****

• The Trix get new outfits once again! I'm happy about that but I'm not sure if I like the new hair styles and clothes yet. I'll need to get a better view of them.

• The Winx are wearing pink and grey plaid school uniform style outfits throughout the trailer. It's unconfirmed if these will be the official everyday outfits for this season or not at this time. The outfits are really cute and pretty but I'm not sure how I feel about them being so similar. It kind of takes their individuality away as a group of fairies with totally different powers. 

• Daphne is shown getting into the transformation poses with the Winx girls. It will be cool to see her fighting with the Winx in a few episodes, but please Daphne... don't join the Club. How lame would it be to be in a club with your younger sibling? I would hate that. A lot of people are saying that Daphne deserves to in the Winx Club because she helped out the Winx so much but is it really necessary? Daphne is already Bloom's sister so they can hang out when ever they want. I'd much rather see Roxy join. I want to see her progression as a fairy. How cool would it be to see her get her Enchantix powers or something? Although I feel like this will never  happen because Rainbow and Nick  seem to like to not like to talk about old transformations once a new one comes along, which is really unsettling for me. I always miss the old ones! 

• There's a very anime-ish vibe and style throughout the whole trailer. I think I like it! I'm not sure if it's exactly "Winx" but I guess we'll see when the new season 6 episodes debut!
  

• We see the Specialists with new outfits. 

• Of course we get a sneak peak of the new transformations! It looks like there will be two in this season.

As you guys can see there will be CGI animation in the 6th season, but I'm pretty sure most of us saw that coming. 

What did you guys think about the trailer? I'm SO excited for season 6! And if fashion dolls come out I'm sure they'd be gorgeous!

Winx Club San Deigo Comic Con 2013 Limited Edition Dolls

This year at Comic Con 2013 there will be some amazing new Limited Edition Winx Club Dolls to purchase! 

The first one that we all know about is Daphne. She will be available for around $30 at the Entertainment Earth Booth at SDCC and on the Toys R Us website starting on July 18th 2013.

Good news! There is also another Limited Edition doll that will be at Comic Con this year! It is a Blue  Harmonix Bloom Doll!

She is simply gorgeous! The designer did an excellent job on both of these dolls and I can not wait to buy them! Hopefully I won't have to fork to much over for this one but she will be worth it anyways!

So guys, what San Deigo Comic Con doll for this year is your favorite is your favorite? I can't decide! I LOVE both! 

Winx Club Sirenix Power App Preview! EXCLUSIVE!

As most of you guys know, Tsumanga Studios Ltd  has been developing a new Winx Club app called "Winx Sirenix Power" which is set for release Spring 2013!

I was lucky enough to test the game through their Facebook page specifically for Winx! A while ago they were asking people who had IOS devices to comment on their Facebook page for a chance to test the app! I was just lucky I guess!

So let's start off with the menu screen!

This is the main menu you will be seeing when you click the app.

Isn't it cool? The columns in the upper right hand corner count the red and blue hearts you have collected while playing.

Here are the different places that you can play in. You can chose either the Infinite Ocean or Shark Eye Mountain!

In each place you can chose from four different games to play:

-Time Trial 1 

-Time Trial 2

-Selkie Rescue Part 1

-Selkie Rescue Part 2

Here is the  loading screen! Isn't it beautiful? The 3D models and graphics are excellent!

Now here are some game play screenshots! I think we all need to give Tsumanga Studios a round of applause for these amazing graphics! What about you guys? Don't you love them! The game will be so amazing! I'm sure you will all like it!

The screen shots below are all from the time trials. In the time trials you are expected to go through magic rings and collect the hearts you swim past! You also have a shields and spells for facing obstacles!

Now these screen shots below are from the Selkie Rescues! In the Selkie Rescues you try to beat Tritanuus to the end of the level! If he gets there before you, you lose! If you get there before him, you win! Simple as that!

In the time trial you get a shield and spells to help slow down Tritanuus and defend yourself from obstacles!

So are you guys excited for this lovely game? Of course there were a few bugs in the test game but they will all be taken out when the game is officially released! 

Playwinxclub informed me today they received a more recent version of the game and most of the bugs are fixed! 

The app will be available for free download in the Apple and Android App Stores and will include in app purchases such as:

New Music Tracks

and

New Characters!
